We are a tour operator, as all the fishing holidays we offer on our website are operated by us. We have our own guides and have offices and full time staff in the UK.

We’re not just your average fishing holiday company. While relatively small, we have grown by putting our customers first, and by choosing the only best fishing venues. We know that you may only fish many of the places we offer once in your life, and that getting exactly what you want is therefore absolutely essential. All of our guides and staff have travelled and fished extensively in the countries in which we operate, so we can provide you with up-to-date, first hand experience that is second to none.

We comply with the 1992 European regulations relating to Package Travel, Package holidays and Package Tours. Our membership with the Travel Trust Association gives our customers 100% financial protection as all funds sent to us are put into a designated trust account, which is supervised by an independent trustee (who is a banker, chartered or certified accountant, or solicitor) approved by the Travel Trust Association. Your funds are held in this account and may not be released to us until you complete your holiday. Your payment to us is also covered by a fidelity policy, which works under the umbrella of the Travel Trust Association.   • We don’t produce expensive brochures – but we hope you like our website
  • The United Kingdom market is more “competitive” than the US market as a whole – for the same well organised tours
  • Other tour operators hide the local cost of arranging these tours by adding in the air fare. You get what you see with us.
  • The majority of our tours are sold direct so there are no travel agent commissions & distribution fees. This “hidden commission” that you get in other companies prices can often be quite high (over 25% in some cases), but has to be there as most travel agents don’t like the operators they work with to undercut them.
  • We don’t have an office in a prestigious location in London.

We don’t cut back when it comes to putting together your holidays, but we do ensure that our marketing and advertising costs and our UK operating costs are kept to a minimum, as ultimately is you that ends up paying for it. We know that a satisfied customer will refer a friend and that’s why we’re successful.

Payment

No, we do not charge any extra fees or fuel surcharges. The listed price is the price you pay. Including tax.

We will send you a travel voucher after you have booked and closer to your departure date. Please print it and take it with you to show to your guide at the start of your trip.

Reservation

Cancellation of a confirmed booking must be made in writing, and is not effective until the Company receives such cancellation. Cancellation charges are:

  • More than 56 days: Loss of deposit. Full refund of balance
  • 42 to 56 days: Loss of deposit. 70% refund of balance
  • 28 to 41 days: Loss of deposit. 50% refund of balance
  • 14 to 27 days: Loss of deposit. 25% refund of balance
  • 0 to 14 days: No Refund

Yes. Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all tours. Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need to ensure that our groups remain manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the tour due to weather or anything that could disturb the tours.

Tours

Yes, we often tailor-make private itineraries to suit our clients needs. However, on our escorted trips, we choose only the best fishing venues, at only best times and provide only the best guides & equipment to ensure that you have the best possible chance to catch fish. The escorted itineraries you see on our website are as good as it gets.

We try to help groups keen on joining our trips in several ways. Anyone who has been on one of our tours before may benefit from a repeat booking discount. We also try to offer group discounts for parties of over 4 persons. Please contact us for specific details for your tour.

After you have booked, we will email you with pre-departure information. This will include details of the hotel where you will join the tour and spend your first night, as well as contact details for our local representatives who you can contact in advance for further details.

As a general rule our escorted tours are not suitable for families. These tours are group guided holidays, designed for the keen fishing enthusiast and often to adventurous destination that are not suitable for children. However we also organise private and tailor-made fishing holidays so please feel free to contact us as there are a some destinations we offer that might be suitable for wives and children.

We believe that offering our holidays without the flights included gives you several advantages. While we are happy to arrange flights for our customers, and hold an ATOL to protect all bookings made with us with a flight, we feel leaving this as an option gives you far greater flexibility in deciding which airline you might prefer to book with, where you want to come from, or where you might want to stop off en-route. You are able to hunt around for the best deals on offer, possibly saving yourself some money. As well as these, some people join our tours when they are already in the country, removing the need for a flight altogether.

Travel Insruance

Yes. Travel Insurance is compulsory on all of our holidays. You must provide us with your travel insurance details, before your departure. Our booking conditions state that we will not run your tour for you if you do not have travel insurance, and no refund will be due.

No. You can purchase travel insurance any time before your date of departure. The insurance cannot normally be purchased once you have already left your home to start the holiday. Please note that cancellation cover will only come into effect after your policy has been issued, and if the reason for the cancellation happens after that date.

Please speak to your travel insurance provider before you travel to ensure you are properly covered. A supplementary cost may be added to the price of your policy.

Private medical insurance may cover you while you are on holiday abroad, but it may not. Please check with them before you leave. We still need to know the details of the policy in case we need to contact them in an emergency.
We still recommend that you take out a travel insurance policy to cover cancellation & curtailment, baggage and other items that will not be included in a private medical insurance policy.
